![]() ![]() Start the battle with Tidus, Yuna and Auron. The rest of the battles are much the same, but he doesn't ambush you are the start. You won't need to worry about Yojimbo's Overdrive bar if you summon an aeon before each of his turns, as he only uses Zanmato on his turn, and doesn't do it as soon as it is filled. My last aeon in the first battle to get downed was Anima. However I didn't have any of my characters get attacked using the above method, so you don't need to worry about that. If one of your characters get downed, they lose their Aim stack, so you will need to use Aim again. Once again, do a normal attack with the aeon, the aeon will die, and get back to doing Aim/Quick Hit until Yojimbo is downed. On the very last turn before Yojimbo's next attack swap Yuna back in and summon your next available aeon. The way I did this is on Yuna's last turn, if there was another character after her, I would swap Yuna for Rikku, and would either stack her up with Aim, or Quick Hit if she was already stacked up. you want to summon another aeon just before Yojimbo's next attack. Unfortunately, Yojimbo's evasion is still quite high, so I failed to hit him about 50% of the time Once they have had Aim casted on themselves 5 times, you want to use the skill "Quick Hit". The idea is you want to get your characters stacked up with 5 lots of Aim to increase accuracy. If the next character is Rikku, swap her out and throw in Auron and cast haste on himself. More then likely, the Aeon will miss the attack, and will be defeated shortly after Once your aeon is summoned, just do a normal attack on Yojimbo. Your aeons are going to be used as cannon fodder and are just taking the brunt of Yojimbo's attacks As Auron has his Celestial weapon, he goes before Yojimbo, swap him out for Yuna, and summon your first aeon available Valefor. Start the fight with Tidus, Auron and Rikku. This is how I defeated him the first time: I believe this is the hardest fight, and as such it may be easy to Zanmato the 1st one. The first fight with Yojimbo is a little different as he ambushes you. Every character had their Celestial weapon equipped and fully powered up The main characters I had for these fights were Tidus, Yuna and Auron, and would sometimes swap in Rikku for an additional turn. I'll post my stats down below for comparison I did, however, have an additional 20 or so "+4 accuracy". I also didn't have Wakka's Celestial weapon powered up, so I didn't use his overdrive to deal massive damage. ![]() I didn't go crazy with boosting for Luck, I only had four nodes that were activated by Tidus, Yuna and Auron I managed to kill him 5 times without using Zanmato or any of my characters/aeons overdrives. I'll be throwing a TL DR version down the bottom so you don't need to read my ramblings After having some trouble taking down Yojimbo, I wanted to share my experience with how I managed to take him down in the hopes that it might help some people. ![]()
